Tiffany N. Thornton received her Juris Doctorate and Bachelor of Civil Law from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University in May of 2005. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science, with a minor in psychology, from the University of Mississippi.

During law school, Tiffany was a member of the 2004 Moot Court Board and a semi-finalist in the 2004 Robert Lee Tullis Moot Court competition. She was also named in the Who's Who Among American Law Students in 2004, and appeared on the Chancellor's List in 2002, 2003, and 2004. Tiffany received awards for excellence in Legal Research and Writing and Labor Law. She was also a member of the Legal Association of Women and participated in the LSU Criminal Flory Trials. Currently, Tiffany is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and the Baton Rouge Bar Association. She is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Louisiana.
